Bob’s carving of a Cougar won the Scottish Chainsaw Championship he was up against twenty five other competitors including five times winner of the competition Pete Bowsher from Scotland.

The carvings are all auctioned at the end of the competition the money for the big carvings goes to the competitors and the small carvings money goes to help pay for the event and any funds raised, are donated to the local community.

The competitors came from Europe, USA and the UK. The first three winners was Bob King with a Cougar (Mountain Lion)USA, Second Mick Burns with a Dragonfly and Third Tim Burgess with a Golden Eagle and the people choice was Mick Burns. There is also a small carving demonstration at the end of the main competition.
