Farming Stories and Tales Page 1
     This page has a selection of Sound and videos files.		 These pages have a collection of stories tales and poetry from within the park area, told by people that live and work here. Sum families have living here for hundreds of year, they have sum interesting tales and stories to tell.

I would like to thank Campbell Slimon for his time and the stories and tales he had to tell. Of his life and Farm.
This is collection of stories and memories from Campbell Slimon. His family have farmed at Crubenbeg in Glen Truim and Breakachy at Laggan for 4 generations.
1941 at Crubenbeg, A highland hill farm, First Memory’s, Employees, School at Crubenbeg, Sheppard’s family.
-		 Employees in 1948 on the farm, shepherd, and winter sheep lost in snow, First land rover.
-		 Live on a hill farm the second world war, A child in Glen Truim, Tractor and House, First Tractor, Corn Binder, Stacks, Threshing mill.
-
Jobs as a boy, rabbits and rats, the rat stories
-		 Experiences as a child A9 and Trains
-		 Construction of a stack and why.
-
Farm Expansion, winter sheep and highland cattle.
-		 Stories and tales, shepherds and keepers.
-		 School as a church, the ministers three.

Farm area over the years, fencing the land, Farming a mountain, looking after the sheep, the ticks, deer.
-		 Move to Laggan, Life at laggan at 10 years old, The Dam, Good Land.
