Glen Muick 1-10-1a Glen Muick at Ballater
Access to the glen is by the B976 Ballater - Balmoral road  at Cemy next to Ballater.
It is about 18 kilometres from Ballater to the car park at the head of the glen at the Spittal of Glen Muick. There is a parking charge at this car park.

His is a wonderful glen with sum magnificent scenery, the river Muick flows through the glen from Loch Muick at the head of the glen, There is a number of parking places it the glen mostly in the upper part. At the spittle car park there is a set of toilets and the a information area run by the Balmoral Ranger Service Tel: 013397 55059 (visitor centre). The rangers are always extremely busy so have a little patience if you are unable to contact them right away. Two full time rangers work in the glen and a number of other people that can help you in a emergency.  For more on Ballater go to Grampian/Ballater/Pages.
